An old single-wide mobile home torn open at one end, with an excavator parked beside it among tall pines

Services

Mobile home removal

We take down old mobile homes and manufactured homes on rural lots and in town when they’re past moving or repair. We tear them down where they sit, haul off the debris, and clear the pad for whatever comes next.

How we take an old mobile home apart

Before we start, the power provider shuts off the power, and the water and septic lines are capped. We take off the skirting, steps, porches, and decks first, then strip the metal siding and roofing for scrap. We tear down the rest with the excavator and load it.

We cut up the steel frame and haul it to a scrap yard. We pull the piers, blocks, and tie-down anchors. If you want the concrete runners or pad gone, we break them out as part of concrete removal. We leave the pad raked and level.

Title paperwork and the next home

Texas treats a scrapped manufactured home as salvaged, so the owner files for a new statement of ownership with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. Bastrop County requires development and septic permits for a new home on the pad outside city limits. You can find the forms and fees under mobile home paperwork.

What mobile home removal costs

Angi’s 2026 guide publishes a range of $3,000 to $7,000 for mobile home demolition. The demolition cost guide covers more published ranges and what drives them.

FAQ

Mobile home questions

Do you take double-wides?

Yes, we take single-wides and double-wides. A double-wide comes apart in two sections, and we tear down and haul off each section the same way.

What about the septic tank?

If a new home will use the septic tank, leave it and have it checked, and see the septic rules. If it won’t, a registered hauler pumps it and we backfill it.
