About Bastrop County Demolition

We’re Bastrop County Demolition. We handle demolition and haul-off for residential and rural properties across Bastrop County. We tear down old houses, mobile homes, barns, sheds, and pools. We also remove concrete and take out interiors, then haul away the debris.

One crew handles the teardown and the hauling, so you deal with one outfit from the walkthrough through final grade. Most of our jobs involve inherited houses, lots being cleared to build or sell, and rural places with buildings past saving.

How we work

We walk the property before we price the work, so we can see what’s there. The scope lists what comes down and what stays, including trees, fences, wells, and the slab.

We sort metal for a scrap recycler and take clean concrete to a recycler where one takes it. The rest goes to a landfill that accepts demolition debris. We keep disposal receipts because the City of Bastrop needs one for final inspection inside city limits. We leave the lot graded.

Work that goes to specialists

Asbestos removal goes to a licensed asbestos abatement contractor, as the Texas Department of State Health Services requires. The electric and gas companies handle utility shutoffs. We schedule our work around theirs.

A state-registered waste hauler handles septic pumping. If a pool fill or a load-bearing wall needs surveys or engineering, a surveyor or engineer handles that work.
