Interior demolition
We strip kitchens, bathrooms, and whole interiors down to the framing for owners and remodeling contractors getting ready for a remodel. We carry the debris out of the house and haul it off the property.
Kitchens and bathrooms
In the kitchen, we take out cabinets, countertops, backsplash tile, flooring, and appliances. In the bathroom, we remove tubs, showers, tile walls, vanities, toilets, and rotted subfloor.
Your plumber and electrician make the lines safe before we start. We cover floors in the rooms that stay and take the debris out the shortest way to the container.
Whole-house guts and single walls
For a full gut, we take out the drywall, ceilings, insulation, flooring, trim, doors, and fixtures. The framing, subfloor, and exterior walls stay, so the space is ready for new wiring, plumbing, and walls.
We can also take out one wall, an old addition, a porch, or a garage conversion while the rest stays. If the wall is load-bearing, your builder or an engineer plans the support first.
Asbestos in older houses
Angi advises that if the house was built or renovated before 1980, you should assume asbestos may be there and test before demolition. The Texas state health department requires a licensed abatement contractor to handle removal under its state asbestos rules, so we schedule around their work.
What interior demolition costs
HomeGuideās 2026 guide lists interior demolition at $2 to $8 per square foot. The demolition cost guide has more published ranges.
